I’ve heard nothing but good things about Their Eyes Were Watching God and I really want to read it. I think it would have been better if I read a full length novel by her before her short stories to really get a feel for her writing. I think because you’ve read things by her already that you’ll love this!

I read Their Eyes Were Watching God a couple of years ago with my book group (so good!!), and just read Barracoon with some coworkers as part of a Black History Month project. Definitely planning to explore more of her work!
