I’m glad you enjoyed my review, I agree with you, her writing wasn’t my favourite, but it wasn’t the worst so I was able to get through the novel. Definitely getting inside the cult was interesting, and I think that was my favourite part was how well she was able to get into the mind of teenage girl, that was super relatable!

I actually just finished this book just a few days ago, and I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed it! I definitely agree with you in that it might not be everyone’s taste because of how violent and explicit it is; while I found the behind-the-scenes information of the cult intriguing and disturbing at the same time, I unfortunately didn’t enjoy the writing style as much as I would’ve hoped. But you make some great points about Cline’s ability to capture a teenage girl.
