Hi friends and happy Thursday, I hope you’re all well! Today I’m going to be doing a book tag, yay! I was tagged by Riddhi @Whispering Stories to do the Reading Habits book tag. Thank you so much for the tag, I’m excited so let’s get to it!

1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

Not really. I mostly read on my bed or on the couch – nothing exciting here 😂

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?

I do have a specific bookmark that I use for my library books (isn’t it cute?!):

But, if it’s not close enough I will use a random object.

3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?

I prefer to stop at the end of a chapter, but sometimes I don’t get that option and so I just have to stop (this hurts me because I like there to be a natural break so that I’m not confused when I pick up the book again).

4. Do you eat or drink while reading?

I used to eat, not so much these days. I do on weekend mornings will read and drink my coffee/tea in bed. Love those mornings!

5. Multitasking- Music or TV while reading?

I used to be really good at reading while listening to podcasts; now, not so much. I listen to podcasts when I read blogs but as for books I don’t do it anymore. As for music, not really – sometimes I put on classical music if there is too much background noise to read. I don’t read and watch TV – I do read during commercial breaks though!

6. One book at a time or several at once?

Oh, serval at once! I’ve always got at least 2 books on the go. I always have my on-going Stephen King read which I read a few chapters a week; then I have my every day books, the books I read to get through my TBR; and occasionally, I have an audio or ebook on the go.

7. Reading at home or everywhere?

I read everywhere. I bring a book with me every where I go. We went to Wal-Mart last weekend and I brought a book with me to read on the way there and back home. 😅

8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?

I haven’t read out loud in years! I used to read my childhood/teen books out loud a chapter a day, but I haven’t done it in years. I don’t think I’d go back to it because it takes longer to read out loud then in your head.

9. Do you read ahead or even skip pages?

Sometimes I can’t help it and I end up looking ahead to the bottom of the page/chapter when something tense is happening and I can’t help it I need to know. Otherwise, I don’t look ahead.

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

Keeping like new! I hate breaking the spine; I get that breaking the spine is like working in a book and giving it love, but I like my spines to show on my shelves so I’d like to see them… not all cracked.

11. Do you write in your books?

This goes with the above question and I like to keep my books like new, so no I don’t write in them. BUT I do enjoy when I get a library book and someone leaves notes, they make me smile and laugh.
