Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get Early

Hi everyone! Happy first day of May! 😀 Happy Tuesday, I’m back at it again with another Top Ten Tuesday. Today’s topic is: Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get Early. Let’s get into it! 🙂

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get Early.

  1. Miss Kopp Just Won’t Quit by: Amy Stewart. I loved the first three novels in this series so I cannot wait for the next book to come out!
  2. Queen of Air and Darkness by: Cassandra Clare. I’ve read every other Shadowhunter book so I’m ready to read what’s to come next.
  3. A Reaper at the Gates by: Sabaa Tahir. I didn’t care for the first book, but then I really loved the second, so I can’t wait to read this one!
  4. Legendary by: Stephanie Garber. As much as the hype was insane for the first novel, I’m very curious to see where this story goes.
  5. The Outsider by: Stephen King. Any new release from King is worthy to be on my list… although I still haven’t read his new release from last year 😅
  6. Leah on the Offbeat by: Becky Albertalli. I think this has probably already been released by the time this is posted, but I’m excited to read this.
  7. Still Me by: JoJo Moyes. Like the previous book I believe this has already been released, but I loved the first two novels so I’m ready to dive into this.
  8. Puddin’ by: Julie Murphy. I read her first book earlier this year so I can’t wait to read what comes next.
  9. A Map of Days by: Ransom Riggs. This was just released not that long ago, and I’m excited to know there will be more from this world!
  10. What If It’s Us by: Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera. I’ve read books from both authors, so no doubt I’m ready to read this!

What books would you slay a lion for? 😝

  1. A Reaper at the Gates is definitely a book I can’t wait for. I really enjoyed the first two but it’s been ages since I read them so a re-read is definitely in order before I pick up book number three. Also oh my god yes Legendary. I really loved Caraval so I can’t wait to see how the story continues, here’s hoping it’s just as amazing as the hype is making it out to be.
I really hope you love Leah on the Offbeat, I’m not sure when it’s released where you are but in the UK it comes out tomorrow so technically it counts. 😀
Great picks for this week Meghan. 🙂 ❤
