The Sunshine Blogger Award V

Hi friends! Happy Thursday; I hope this week is treating you well! πŸ™‚ Today I’m at it again with the Sunshine Blogger Award. Thanks to good ol’ Drew @The Tattooed Book Geek for tagging me. If you don’t follow Drew, well…

What can I say about Drew, he’s in the market for 10,000 bloupies,Β oops, I meantΒ followers, so you may want to stop over there and help a brother out and give him that follow he’s been looking for. Don’t worry, he’s not conceited, he’s just your average Polite Delightβ„’ looking for some good lovin’. ❀️

And if that doesn’t convince you to hop on over to his blog, he’s a sensitive soul, even though his Mr. Mean wrestler’s exterior says otherwise, and he’s a funny too! His sarcasm has all the ladies trippin’ over him because he’s such a young (dinosaur)Β gentleman; so just give the man a follow already!

In all seriousness though, Drew is a good, down to earth guy with a good blog! 😎
**Even if he’s a bad influence sometimes πŸ˜‰

The Tag Rules:

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
  • Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.
  • Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and ask them 11 new questions
  • List the rules and display the sunshine blogger award logo in your post/or on your blog.

Okay now onto the actual questions!

  1. What would your spirit animal be?

I think the correct wording here is, whatΒ is your spirit animal. I am obviously a majestic unicorn!

Look at all that freakin’ sass!

2. What would your theme song be?

Again, is: and definitely I’m Not Okay (I Promise) by: My Chemical Romance.Β Always has… always will be 😁

3. There’s a magic doorway that will take you anywhere, to any fantasy world, to any era or just to any different country, where do you choose to go?

Uhm. This is hard; I have no idea. The wardrobe would take me to Narnia probably.

4. What is your favourite type of cake?

Chocolate.

5. What fruit or vegetable would make the best weapon?

An eggplant… because it’s hard πŸ†*

*Drew only works in sarcasm and innuendos; there was no other way to answer this

6.Β What upcoming book do you wish that you could read right now?

Amy Stewart’sΒ Miss Kopp Just Won’t Quit. These books are so good!

7. If you could rewrite the ending of any book which book would you choose?

None, because I don’t think I’d be able to write it any better… okay I could probably write Twilight books better.

8. What would your epitaph read?

Morbid much? I have no idea!

‘Here lies Meghan; her books couldn’t save her this time’

9. Who would you love to punch in the face?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Well, where do I start? For the purpose of this question, I’ll just say the woman who is dragging me through hell right now.

10. What is your top worst bit of blogging advice? – make it as funny as you can!Β πŸ˜‰

I’m not funny.

I don’t know, how about being a complete asshole to everyone you encounter; I think that would get you at the bottom of everyone’s list real fast.

11. You are hosting a bookish influenced dinner party, which authors, characters and bloggers do you invite?

My first thought was Stephen King, but to be honest I’d rather be at his dinner table because if you’ve read anything about the King family you’ll know they had crazy dinners!

Anyways, let’s just invite the King family, that would be entertaining! I’d also invite ooo, the Malfoy’s, now this has become a really fun dinner. I’ll open the floor to any blogger who wants to come!

My Questions:

  1. Which social media site it is your favourite for all things bookish?
  2. Are you a fan of gifs? If so, please share all the gifs!
  3. How important are libraries to you?
  4. What’s your favourite TV show?
  5. When was the last time you read a 5 star book? What was it?
  6. Any last plans for the summer?
  7. Who are your bookish heroes?
  8. Where do you keep your books?
  9. Why do you read?
  10. Do you read anything besides books? Ex. magazines, newspapers…
  11. What colour is the sky? (sent by my brother, ladies and gents)

  1. Oh, well, luck at that you did the tag!πŸ‘πŸ“š

Oh snap! You pulled me up on my wording on a couple of the questions!πŸ˜±πŸ™„πŸ˜œ I actually used ‘would’ and not ‘is’ in them because some people don’t have a spirit animal or theme song so by using ‘would’ I opened the question up to them.πŸ‘ One blogger who did the tag doesn’t have a spirit animal or theme song, using would allowed them to pick one. Alas, they didn’t pick one and just said dunno.πŸ™„πŸ˜’

Egg plant! Oh, you mean an aubergine!πŸ† Lol, because it’s hard!πŸ˜‚ Though, if you were going for broke you should have included ‘and yes, that’s what he said’ after the hard bit!πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ

Ha, I wouldn’t say your not funny, you have moments where you can be quite amusing and the introduction was fun.😜

    1. It was never a matter if I did the tag, it was posting the tag πŸ˜‰

Mhmm, 😜Well it looks like it didn’t really work out then did it, since they didn’t bother answering, how sad πŸ˜ͺ

Why do you have a different word for eggplant?!?! I had to google what a aubergine is! I’ve never heard the term before. πŸ†
Well, I didn’t have to, you did for me πŸ˜‰

Well, I’m glad you find me amusing πŸ™„I’m just here for your entertainment, obviously 😜Although what’s the difference between being funny & being amusing?
I’m glad you thought the intro was fun πŸ˜›

      1. I could ask why you have a different word for aubergine!πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚πŸ† I have no idea, some words that mean the same thing in different countries and are different are also quite similar and you can guess they mean the same. Egg plant and aubergine, no, totally different and weird.πŸ™„πŸ˜‚

Yes, that is true, it didn’t work out, give them the opportunity to pick one and they still just didn’t, sigh.πŸ™„

Is there even a difference between being amusing and funny? I thought they meant the same, I just use amusing as a word more than fun.πŸ‘

      2. My answer for you is this: “Although eggplant is the common name in many countries, in British English, it is called aubergine” so you guys are the weirdos 😝

You made it out that there was a difference. Funny means ‘Someone or something that is funny is amusing and likely to make you smile or laugh.’ which is pretty much the same definition for amusing.

  2. Great answers for this tag Meghan. I will say chocolate is like the ultimate cake flavour, maybe it is a standard one but why improve on something that’s perfect already right?! Also I kind of love your anti-blogging advice too, I feel like being an asshole would be the quickest way to alienate the community and lose follows, so it’s short but it kind of works for anti-advice right?!
Great answers, and great post too. πŸ˜€ ❀
