Hi guys! Today I’m going to be posting a movie review, The Perfect Guy.

I actually have a few movie reviews that I’m hoping to get out in the next couple Fridays!

So I went out and watched this movie, if you haven’t watched this, please don’t spend the money on it, if you already did, I’m sorry.

The Perfect Guy: The film opens with a woman getting ready for her day, with her boyfriend. The viewer is supposed to think these two are perfect, there is music playing in the background to suggest a wonderful life. Turns out about ten minutes in that that is all an illusion, the couple is far from perfect. Leah Vaughn is in her thirties and she’s ready to settle down and start a family, only her boyfriend Dave isn’t ready for that kind of commitment, so they break up. Heartbroken Leah focuses on her work until she meets the man of her dreams, Carter Duncan. He’s smart, he’s charming, and says all the right things, her parents love him, what’s not to like? When things take a drastic turn, Leah sees the real side of Carter she never thought she’d see. Carter is obsessed, and it leads to stalking. He claims if he can’t have her no one can, so it turns into a film of when the stalker becomes the stalkee. The film is highly predictable, and could have been so much shorter. The plot was unoriginal, and the characters were so predictable. The viewer always felt like they were one step ahead because they could figure it out. Although to give credit to the film, there were a few good scenes of dialogue, and it was funny, but otherwise it’s not worth wasting money on.
