WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

The Stand: I’m 84% of the way through; I’m still 84%, like last week. This week’s chapters were 11 pages combined, but we learned of a fateful death that I did not see coming, nor did I see it happening that way; but as I think on it, it made sense. King understands his characters and how they should go out.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: I’m 66% of the way through; this is still just SO cute! Peter is an interesting character… I think he really likes Lara Jean but he’s not very good at showing it, plus I don’t think he’s quite over Gen yet; the whole dynamic is fun to read. Plus I really love Kitty as a character too!
Lastly I’m reading nothing again… this will change in a few hours but I haven’t decided if I’m going ebook or physical book yet. 

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I finished A Poison Dark and Drowning by: Jessica Cluess. It wasn’t until I sat down to write the review of this that I realized how much I actually really enjoyed this book. Once I finished it, I was like, ‘oh yeah, great’ but when I actually took time with my thoughts I was actually wowed by this book and I can’t wait to read the final book… which I may just move up and ignore everything else I thought I was going to read 😅
I also finished Just Mercy by: Bryan Stevenson last night and wow, this was such a powerful look at the justice system in the US and just the work that Stevenson does is incredible. I’d definitely recommend this to give you an eye opening look at what really goes on.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

Again, I’m keeping Get a Life, Chloe Brown by: Talia Hibbert on my list here this week… I will get to this… but I have two library books that are ready to be picked up (I’m SO excited) so my reading options have opened up. I think next week will have a few new books in this section!
