Review: Thirteen Reasons Why

Hello, and welcome to Throwback Thursday! Today I’m going to re-reviewing Jay Asher’s novel Thirteen Reasons Why.

Read: July 2013
Rating: 4 Stars

Thirteen Reasons Why

Thirteen Reasons Why by: Jay Asher: A compelling novel about suicide. That aside, even though it’s about suicide, the novel was really well crafted. Clay, the main character is left to figure out the thirteen reasons as to why Hannah Baker committed suicide, and he figures out he is one of the reasons. As depressing the content of the novel is it’s really compelling. It’s like suspense, mystery type novel that just makes the reader turn the pages. The only thing that was a little off was how so much can happen to one person. That didn’t seem realistic, but other then that, the whole novel was a great piece of writing.

  1. I read 13 Reasons Why when it came out…was not really a fan. I felt like the main character was on the whiny side. BTW, haven’t you around my blog lately, is everything OK? Check in…
