Something Unique About Me:

I have a really good memory when it comes to dates. I don’t know why I can remember dates so well, but it can come in handy!

Lucy’s Questions:

If you could live in any type of home, anywhere in the world, where would you go and what house would you choose? (Like a treehouse in New York or something!).

I never really thought about it, but now that you’ve mentioned tree house, all I want to do is live in a tree house 😅 You know what would be cool? To live in a Hobbit hole; that’s where I’d love to live!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who chew with their mouths open 😅
I’m sure I could think of others but that was the first that came to mind.

What would you tell the you that started your blog if you could go back to that day?

Just keep going. Always remember that this is your little corner of the Internet for you to cultivate and let grow. Be proud of it.

Is there one song out there that you think everybody should listen to? 

I’m just going to go with a song I really like and that’s Yoko Ono by: Mob Rich

If there were no limits in life for a day, what would you do first and last?

This is such a daunting question, like what would I do? Do a lot of traveling, I don’t know that sounds lame. Like if I didn’t have to worry about work? Maybe go on a shopping spree… buy all the books, make my own personal library. Eat lots of ice cream and drink all the coffee 😂

Have you set yourself any challenges for the year?

I have a whole bunch of ‘challenges’ ‘goals’ whatever you want to call them. You can read my check-in post for this year, here. I have a few bookish goals, like reading 100 books and I have a few personal goals like maybe riding my bike 😂

How many blog posts have you written so far?

Too many. No, I kid! So as this post is going live (not when I’m writing it) I have posted 1,394 blog posts. Wow 😱 You know, I’ve never really thought about it… I’m very close to 2000, damn!

Does your blog have a niche or no?

Hmm, I don’t know how to answer this. Yes, in a sense it does because I mostly talk about bookish things – but I also talk about other things, although not as much as I used to. In the beginning I used to post about traveling and music and tv shows (which I still do a bit), but that’s slowed down in recent years. Maybe I should bring some things back. 🤔

Do you have any advice for helping a blogging get out of a writers rut?

Oh boy, I don’t know. Maybe my biggest piece of advice is to live life and let that inspire you to blog. That sounds easier said than done, but sometimes if you take a step back and you think about the things you do in your life, you can find you can turn them into blogable moments. I know for me, there are many things I’ve thought about blogging about but I just haven’t done it… maybe one day!
