Review: Class Clown

Hi friends! Happy Monday! Today is a holiday here in Canada, so I’m happy to be kicking back a little. Today I’m going to be posting my review of Johanna Hurwitz’s novel Class Clown.

Class Clown

Class Clown by: Johanna Hurwitz: Lucas Cott is a mischievous young boy who likes to cause trouble. Credited as the class clown of his third grade class, he likes to be rowdy and get everyone’s attention. Lucas soon learns that doing silly things all the time isn’t always the best way to get attention. This novel was well written and captured a young boy’s need for attention very well. Lucas’s character was very relatable and the characters he had in and around his life really made his world come to life. The plots that he’s taken through are hilarious, yet good for learning valuable lessons. It’s a simple, yet fun read for young readers.
