Karla’s Questions
If you could meet any author living or dead, who would it be?
Living, definitely Stephen King. Wouldn’t that be something? I’d love to know what keeps the King of Horror going, like the man is still writing!
Dead, Oscar Wilde. There are so many interesting themes in Dorian Gray I’d love to pick his brain about.
What is your favourite book cover ever?
That’s a loaded question because I feel like this changes all the time. I have a thing for beautiful series covers, like the copy ofย The Dark Towersย I own are beau-it-ful!
Look at them, aren’t they lovely? SO much colour… I love colour!
What is your favourite book of 2019 and why?
Ooohhh I like this question, but I hate how hard it is. Let me consult my Goodreads shelf… I’m going with what I read, and not released… because I think I read all of 3 books released this year, teehee.
I gotta go with The Chalk Man by: C.J. Tudor. THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD. I had such a hard time putting it down. I needed to know who did it, I was so involved in the story because it was SO engrossing. Every time I see it on my shelf… which is like every day, I want to pick it up and read it again. This just means I need to buy her other books!
The Questions
- What is your favourite book of 2019? (I really liked this question)
- Have you met your Goodreads goal? If you’re participating. If not, is there a reading challenge goal you want to meet?
- Is there anything new you want to try next year? Reading, blogging, writing, personal?
The Nominees
As always, don’t feel the need to do this if tags/awards aren’t your thing. Same goes, if you see this and want to do it, go ahead!

Aren’t they? I bought them a few years ago, and I’m so in love! Not sure if they’re some alternate American version.
I was totally thinking about buying her second book the other day… I need to get on that!

Wonderful review Meghan! I have never read a Stephen King book because I am a chicken but you made me want to read one! Also Oscar Wilde is such a good answer, what an incredible author. And thank you for the shoutout ๐ฅฐ
