Review: Go Ask Alice

Hi guys, today I’m going to be reviewing Go Ask Alice. It’s written anonymously.

This novel is from the diary of someone, and has been turned into a novel. It’s incredibly powerful.

Go Ask Alice

Go Ask Alice: It’s not really a story, and more like someone’s life. It’s the true story and life of a girl growing up in the 60s who has a battle with drug addiction. Throughout the journal entries you see her highs and her lows, what makes her happy, what makes her sad or angry. The main character goes through so much to get better, but the ending is just shocking. It makes the reader question what you just read. You think the ending is going to be completely different than what it turns out to be. It’s a great, and really fascinating read. Sure there are books on fictional characters who have drug issues, but this story is 100 per cent real, which makes it all the more powerful read. Highly recommended to read, and it’s not a long read either, which makes it easy to read, but the substance is hard to get through.
