Hi all! Happy Thursday friends! Today I’m coming at you with the Quick Fire Fantasy book tag! I was tagged by the lovely Jenna @Bookmark Your Thoughts. Thanks girl, if you don’t follow Jenna, you should just do it! π
The Rules
β Thank the person who tagged you and link back to their post.
β Link to the creatorβs blog (Jo @Β The Bookworm Dreamer) in your post.
β Answer the prompts below β all fantasy books!
β Tag 5 others to take part.
β Enjoy!
One. 5 Star Book
The Book of Dust by: Philip Pullman. Anything he writes really… kinda stealing Jenna’s answer π
Two. Always going to recommend
The Raven Cycle by: Maggie Stiefvater. I will always recommend Maggie Stiefvater books, I love her writing!
Three. Own it but havenβt read it
The Bone Season by: Samantha Shannon. I’ve owned this book for years now and I just haven’t gotten around to reading it… I hear it’s lovely thought π
Four. Would read again
The Diviners by: Libba Bray. Such a good series!
Five. In another world
Aren’t all fantasy novels in another world in a sense? But I’ll go with Six of Crows by: Leigh Bardugo.
Six. Back on Earth
I’m coming at you with another Maggie Stiefvater series because I can. The Wolves of Mercy Falls was a great trilogy, I haven’t read it in years to see if it holds up, but it’s going to be forever in my memory as good!

AWE! You’re so sweet! Thank you, love!
I haven’t read Book of Dust yet but I plan to!
SIX OF CROWS! I was so shocked that I liked it since I don’t tend to enjoy multiple POV novels … but I really enjoyed it!

Uhh, I still need to read The Book of Dust. I read his trilogy earlier this year (and wasn’t a fan of it tbh…) but I’ve been meaning to read La Belle Sauvage during NEWTs which didn’t happen… lol.

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t like His Dark Materials, hopefully this book will be better.
I’m sure there will be another time to read it! π

AH I LOVE your answers! I love Philip Pullman’s books, The Book of Dust was really good, even if I prefered the original Dark Materials series to that one. I’m really looking forward to getting a copy of the newest book that just released…. I can’t recall the title right now, ugh, but I’m excited to read about Lyra again! π
