Hi friends, welcome back to another WWW Wednesday! I thought this would be a fun way to see a snapshot of what I’m reading!
Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at.
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
The Stand: I’m 54% of the way through; I’ve finally hit the halfway point… man there were SO many unnecessary scenes in one of the chapters I read this week. I’m willing to bet that most of what I read wasn’t in the original work (as I’m reading the uncut version).
Extras: I’m 45% of the way through; this is still continuing to move slowly, but I like all these weird sneaky plots. The main character Aya is trying to expose this group of girls because no one believes they exist because they hate their version of the media. It’s this interesting plot that I can’t wait to see where it goes.
Lastly I’m reading Hollow City by: Ransom Riggs. This is the second book in the book in the Peculiar Children series and is another reread for me. I just started today and I’m finding I’m moving through this novel a lot faster than the first. It’s still a slow build up, but it’s been a pleasant build up.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I finished my reread of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by: Ransom Riggs. I first read this back in 2014, and I didn’t remember that it took over 100 pages to really get into this story. The book needs to set-up, I understand, but it was really slow. I do look forward to continuing on with the rest of this series.
I also finished The Girl from the Well by: Rin Cheupeco. This was a creepy read, I really enjoyed the Japanese folklore and there was something about the writing that was just very enjoyable. I look forward to reading the sequel.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUâLL READ NEXT?
I’m going to continue with my reread of the Peculiar Children series with Library of Souls being next. I also plan to read the sequel to The Girl from the Well, The Suffering by: Rin Cheupeco.
Thatâs some horror list … happy reading !

I’ve been meaning to reread Miss Peregrines series for a while now. I remember it used to be my favorite series, but I haven’t read the fourth and fifth book. Have you watched the movie of Miss Peregrines?

This is exactly why I’m rereading the series, I haven’t read the fourth and fifth book either! I haven’t seen the movie, I want to. Have you?

Yeah. It’s decent. There are some of things that they shouldn’t have changed, but it’s really good on it’s own.
