Review: Eon & Eona

Hi everyone I’m going to be reviewing Alison Goodman’s novel Eon and the sequel Eona.

Eon

Eon by: Alison Goodman: The story of a boy named Eon, who is really a girl named Eona and as the story progresses more and more people start to find out he, is a she. As more people find out, Eon’s life is at stake. All his life he has been studying Dragon Magic, and women are forbidden to use it. The novel goes on twists and turns through almost finding out the secret, to almost near death and the story has not ended yet. The novel just ends where the story starts to pick up again, and the reader is left hanging. Throughout the novel the reader goes through exciting parts, and then really boring dry spots. This is a novel for people who are interested in dragons and adventure type novels. Overall, it was entertaining, but if you’re not interested it won’t hold your interest.

Eona

Eona by: Alison Goodman: The sequel to the novel Eon. This novel continues where the other left off, everyone finding out Eon, is really Eona, a girl. Girls aren’t anyone, let alone dragoneyes. She must prove herself to all the men who are in this long journey, that she can be a dragoneye. The novel is a long journey to gaining power, but first they must fight to gain the power only to find out in the end where the power really lies. It’s an intense novel full of ups and downs that keep the reader reading to find out what is going to happen. It’s also a fantasy-based novel full of dragons, if you haven’t already figured that out, that takes dragons to a cool level. Definitely worth checking out if you like dragons.
