Top Ten Tuesday: Bookstores/Libraries I’ve Always Wanted to Visit

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday, I’m back at it again with another Top Ten Tuesday. Today’s topic is: Bookstores/Libraries I’ve Always Wanted to Visit. Let’s get into it! 🙂

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Bookstores/Libraries I’ve Always Wanted to Visit. I had to do some googling for this as there are only a few I actually know by name!

  1. The Strand. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this bookstore in New York, maybe one day when I make it back there!
  2. The New York Public Library. When I was in NYC two years ago, I really, really wanted to go, unfortunately there is SO much to see in NY that we just didn’t have time. I got to see it from the outside, so that half counts!
  3. City Lights Books. This bookstore in San Francisco looks really cute!
  4. El Ateneo Grand Splendid. Damn, as soon as I saw the photo of this bookstore in Buenos Aires I think I was in love!
  5. Honesty Bookshop. Again, this looks really awesome!
  6. Clementinum Library. This library in Prague, holy!
  7. Trinity College Old Library. This library in Dublin, hot damn!
  8. Stuttgart City Library. I’m not surprised how modern this library in Germany looks!
  9. Library of Parliament. This library in Ottawa, Canada is very pretty. I’ve been on the outside since we weren’t allowed to go in; I would love to go in one day!
  10. Abbey Library of Saint Gall. This library in Switzerland looks so beautiful!

What bookstores/libraries are on your list? 🙂

  1. Oh Trinity College nearly made my list this week too, it was edged out by Oxford at the final hurdle though. 🙂 These are all brilliant picks Meghan. The Abbey Library is probably (in my opinion at least) the most beautiful one of the lot, wow I really want to go there myself now. 😀
Great post, and again great picks for this week. 🙂 ❤️
