Review: The Scorpio Races

Hello lovely friends! It’s almost the end of the week… almost. I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend, but who knows what could happen.
Anyways today is Throwback Thursday! Today I’m going to be re-reviewing Maggie Stievfater’s novel The Scorpio Races.

I’ve heard mixed things about this novel, but I truly loved this story!

Read: April 2013
Rating: 5 Stars

The Scorpio Races

The Scorpio Races by: Magge Stievater: Every year in November the water horses come out of the sea, and someone must die. This year Puck decides she will ride in them to save the house she grew up in, and being the only, and first woman to ride there are many challenges. Sean on the other hand must win the races so he can finally own his horse. This novel is full of adventure and fight to gain what you love most. The novel is almost less about the horse races and who wins but about their journeys and how they got there. The writing was very detailed and filled in caps beautifully with detail. Overall the novel is a novel of true triumph.
