Hello, and welcome to Throwback Thursday! It’s almost the weekend, thank goodness! It’s a four day week and it’s just been horrible.
Today I’m going to be looking Julian Barnes novel A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters.

I had to read this book for school, and I remember taking this novel out at the school library and I could only take it out for three days, so I read this super fast (which has an effect on my opinion obviously). I don’t know why that’s a thing, you can only have a book for three days, so strange, anywho’s, here’s my review.

A History of the World in 10½  Chapters by: Julian Barnes: This is a novel of many places and people here on Earth. The first chapter talks about Noah’s Ark and it captivates the reader to read more into the story; as the reader gets to the next chapter realize that they aren’t really related, but core related. They all have some sort of way to coming back to Noah or the ark in some bizarre kind of way. In that sense the novel is interesting and grabs the reader. This novel is not suitable to be read in a short span of time. Sometimes the novel is read more like a textbook then an actual story so it turns off the reader. If you’re interested in reading about the world and about Noah and his ark in a textbook sort of way, all the power to you.
