Review: Gray

Hello, and welcome to Throwback Thursday! Today I’m going to be looking back at Pete Wentz’s novel Gray.

Read: June 2013
Rating: 4 Stars

Gray

Gray by: Pete Wentz & James Montgomery: Ever wanted to know into the live of the famous Pete Wentz? Well now is your chance. Based off his life, but the reader knows it could be completely false as well because he never mentions his name at all. No one is mentioned by their name, if they are mentioned they have a nickname. It’s a woeful tale of a kid who fell in love with a girl, who he would quit the band for, but never did. Through depression and love the story unfolds. Wentz has a very poetic style to his writing and it flows all together peacefully. It was a smooth read with carefully chosen words, but the entire time the reader sort of felt bad for the guy, and the writing made the reader feel that way. Overall, Wentz is great storyteller.
