Movie Review: IT

Hello, hello. Today I’m finally going to get around to reviewing the movie IT.

I went to see this twice in the theatre, I’ve never seen a movie twice, that just goes to show you how amazing this movie is!

IT

It: Based off the book by Stephen King, the children of Derry, Maine seem to be going missing. Now Georgie has gone missing, and Billy recruits all his friends to help him to go look for him. Playing on their fears, each see IT as something different, but all of them see Pennywise the creepy clown. This film was so well done; it was just terrifying enough that every time we saw Pennywise he got scarier and scarier, and it worked so well. The plot, which split the book in two, focused on the children and it had this whole Stand by Me feel to it that made this film so enjoyable. It gave it this emotional element that played with the scary which gave this film the full effect that hit all the emotions. The actors who played all the characters did such an amazing job, they really brought each character to life in their own way. Everything about this film was done right, hopefully part two doesn’t happen in twenty-even years.
