Review: Harry Potter: Film Wizardry

Hello! Happy Wednesday! Today I’m going to be reviewing Brian Sibley’s book Harry Potter: Film Wizardry.

It only took me two years to read this…

I had a friend recommend this to me 😅

Harry Potter: Film Wizardry

Harry Potter Film Wizardry by: Brian Sibley: This book takes readers on an inside guided tour of all eight Harry Potter films. The inside information provided in this book is perfect, not only for the true HP fans, but to those who love film as well. This book took readers through how certain scenes were shot, how the actors, not only felt about one another, but how they felt about shooting different scenes, and how the directors, writers and crew members felt about the movies, which was definitely fun to read. It’s always interesting to get inside these creative minds to see how things that were once just written words come to life before our eyes. The order in which this book was told was well done. Predominantly told in the order of the films, peppered between pages that were filled with actors who played the characters. This book had so much colour, photos and design that it’s clear the graphic artists from the movie helped to put this all together because it’s well thought out and thorough, much like the props and such seen in the films. This will definitely give HP fans all the feels and make them want to reminisce on all the magic one more time.

  1. I have wanted to get my hands on this book for years, but for some reason haven’t yet. 😅 Probably because it’s not a fictional book, so it wasn’t a priority? Anyway, I adore Harry Potter and the movies so it’s quite obvious why I want to get this book. Great review! 🙂
