Evermore Book Tag

Hi friends, happy Thursday! I hope everyone is doing well. Today I’m going to be doing the Evermore book tag. I was tagged by the lovely Karla @Another Bookworm, please go give her a follow she is so delightful and such a pleasure to talk to, whether it be books, pop culture… life! So yeah, go follow her! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I guess you could say that I’ve recently become a Swiftie. ๐Ÿ˜Š This was such a great album that I can’t get enough of.

Rules:

  • Link back to the original creatorโ€™s post:ย Ahaanaโ€™s at Windows to Worlds
  • Tag at least 5 people
  • Thank the person who tagged you and link back to their post!!
  • Feel free to use the graphics in this post , butย pleaseย credit back because they took a lot of time and effort to make (:

I’m going to go with Felix from Felix Ever After by: Kacen Callender I connected with him as a character and just wanted the best for him.

Recently (a few months ago now) I read Swing Time by: Zadie Smith and the main character has a few broken relationships in her life.

Omg my love for Star Daughter by: Shveta Thakrar is beyond this world. It’s not often a story comes along and really feels like a warm blanket and is just a comfort for me, so this surprised me how much I felt when reading it. READ IT! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’•

I could use Star Daughter for this too, but it fits more-so for the prompt above.
I’ll go with The Chalk Man by: C.J. Tudor as the main character goes back to his hometown after years of being away, this was such a thrilling read! I loved every moment of this novel.

I read Still Me by: Jojo Moyes a bit ago and the relationship between the main character and her boyfriend was a ride, and definitely goes with the song, for the most part.

The Amateurs trilogy by: Sara Shepard is a murder mystery that had me on my toes; each novel was better than the one before.

Saying Harry Potter feels like a disservice to the song โ€“ this song really taught me about moving on and cherishing old relationships (in all forms) โ€“ but I would also be lying if I didn’t say that HP used to be a favourite growing up, but I no longer feel the need to keep it in my life anymore. Okay, so the song works for this as I just thoughtย this used to bring me happiness but not anymore.

My first thought went to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by: Ann Brashares. I enjoyed reading about their friendship; it was so pure.

I don’t cry often when reading, and if I’m being honest โ€“ I don’t remember the last book that made me cry. The one that stands out to me is You Know Me Well by: Nina LaCour and David Levithan. There was a passage where one of the main characters goes through a heartbreak and I felt everything he felt.

Can I say Star Daughter again? No, okay I’ll choose a different book. The Black Flamingo by: Dean Atta. I didn’t know what to expect from this novel and wow I was blown away by this story. There was so much heart and hurt and finding one-self.

I’m going to steal Karla’s answer because I totally agree! The Six of Crows duology was so good!

I love how Karla picked The Witches by: Roald Dahl because mine was the BFG… I took that book out from the library so many times and I just remember reading it a lot.
And if I wasn’t reading that… I was totally engrossed in all the Mary-Kate and Ashley books… I wanted to be Mary-Kate ๐Ÿ˜…

I have gone down a rabbit hole looking for these imagines… now I want to read all of these again… perhaps a new project? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Each of Us a Desert by: Mark Oshiro had so many life lessons and I thought it was a moving novel, even if I didn’t connect with the main character all that much.

The final book in the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, The Desolations of Devil’s Acre, comes out next week and I’m very excited to see how it all ends!

At this moment I can’t think of any really long series that had an amazing ending. I don’t read really long series anymore.

This was a lot of fun! I don’t know who is a Taylor Swift fan so I’m not going to tag anyone for this. But if you see this and want to take part, consider yourself tagged!
