Movie Review: Black Panther

Hi guys & happy Friday! Last Friday I had the pleasure of finally seeing Black Panther and today I’m going to be reviewing it!

Black Panther

Black Panther: T’Challa has returned back home to Wakanda after his father has died to take his place as king. Once he’s done so an enemy appears out of the shadows to overthrow T’Challa. The two have different views of how to run and raise Wakanda and so it is with the power of the Black Panther good and evil rises and falls. Cinematically this film was so well done; everything from small dialogue scenes to bigger fighting scenes everything was filmed so well and so eye pleasing. This film was very colourful and bright which added to the appeal. The plot was easy to follow there weren’t too many complex plots, but the simplicity of it left the viewer totally engrossed in the story, a story that was really well written and well executed with a cast that  worked really well together. There were quite a few funny pieces of dialogue throughout to bring comic relief exactly when it was needed. This film takes on African culture and it’s a really nice and refreshing change to see in a Marvel film. The characters all have a purpose and a drive and the viewer gets a sense of who these people are scene by scene. It doesn’t take long to understand and feel for these characters, to understand the message in this film, giving it yet another reason why it’s so well done and appealing. Overall, it’s got a little bit of everything for everyone.
