WWW Wednesday #5 💞

Hello friends! Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday! I thought this would be a fun way to see a snapshot of what I’m reading!

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at.

I have hit the 100 page mark on The Stand woohoo! Things are progressing… slowly, but like I say I’m really excited to get into the heart of the story. I’m continuing my re-read of the Uglies I don’t remember this whole romance plot that is unfolding! It’s been really interesting, I have a lot of questions that I hope will be addressed by the end of the novel! Lastly, I’m reading Endless Water, Starless Sky by Rosamund Hodge. I don’t know I just feel like there is SO much going on that I’m having a hard time keeping track of things, just like the first novel. I’m going to continue, but I probably won’t rate this very high.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I finished We Used to be Friends by Amy Spalding, and it was such a great read about a friendship break-up. I found it so relatable, heart wrenching and un-put-downable. I also finished Holding Up the Universe by Jennifer Niven and I didn’t really like it. There were elements that I enjoyed but the romance aspects I just couldn’t get behind. The fact that Libby felt she needed a boy to love her was annoying.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

I have the ebook of Come Tumbling Down by Seanan McGuire, I have a hard time with ebooks so I’m going to try and read it between my physical books… I’m still really excited to read this! I also have Hag Seed by Margaret Atwood on my shelf… my first Canadian author of the year so I’m VERY excited to get to this!

What are you all reading?

  1. Ahhh yay We Used to Be Friends! So happy you enjoyed this book, I loved it so, so much as well ❤ I'm with you about Jennifer Niven book, I liked her but it was a little disappointing that the main character needed a boy like that, I agree! 😦

Right?! It made me angry that she felt she needed this boy to want her and to be seen. Like, meh it wasn’t cute 🙄
