Hi friends, it’s Tuesday – I hope you’re all doing well. Today I’m going to be taking part in the Outstanding Blogger Award for the second time. I was nominated by Elli @Ace Reader. Thank you so much for tagging me! Be sure to check out her wonderful blog for all things bookish! 😊
The Rules
- Provide the link to the creator’s original award post. (very important: see why in step 5)
- Answer the questions provided.
- Create 7 unique questions.
- Nominate 10 bloggers. Ensure that they are aware of their nomination. Neither the award’s creator, nor the blogger that nominated you, can be nominated.
- At the end of 2020, every blog that ping-backs the creator’s original post will be entered to win the 2020 Outstanding Blogger Award!
Questions!
- What book have you re-read the most?
This is very easy to answer! The Picture of Dorian Gray by: Oscar Wilde. I’ve read this book over 12 times now – it’s become a favourite re-read of mine!
- A popular book you think is overrated?
This one, not so easy to answer. 😅 Why is my go-to answer for questions like this always Twilight? Maybe because it’s easy, but I just think it’s overrated – I still don’t get it. 😂
- Translate the title of your favourite book into emojis.
🖼️👨
I suck at this 😂 but I tried. I think it’s obvious, but maybe it’s not.
- Do you watch booktube? If yes whose your favourite booktuber?
Does this make me a bad book person to say no? I honestly just don’t have the time to watch videos on top of staying up to date with everyone’s blogs, plus my own.
- What’s the best book-ish gift you’ve ever received?
Hmm, I really like the Game of Thrones book ends my brother got me years ago… I wish I had more room to use them better. Currently they are just on my shelves in random spots.
- If you could travel in time, where would you go?
Maybe the future? I don’t really want to go to the past, the future is so unknown that it would be fun to see.
- How do you rate books?
I don’t have a rating system on my blog. I’ve thought about it, but that’s about as far as that went. 😅 I do use the rating system on Goodreads, but I find myself a lot of time time rating up when I want to give something, like 3.5 will go to 4, 2.5 to 3. I find I don’t rate a book 5 stars too often, but there are books, and 2020 I think may be the first in a while where I have a few… thinking about writing a post on them.
Tags!
Even though we are in the season of giving, I honestly don’t have the energy to tag anyone. If you see this and want to take part, please feel free to!
