Top Ten Tuesday: Best Books I’ve Read In 2018 (So Far)

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday, I’m back at it again with another Top Ten Tuesday. Today’s topic is: Best Books I’ve Read In 2018 (So Far). Let’s get into it! 🙂

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Best Books I’ve Read In 2018 (So Far). I have to say it takes a lot for a book to be 5 stars for me, but I think I’ve read some really good books so far this year.

  1. Girl Waits With Gun by: Amy Stewart. These books are SO good. I can’t wait until the next instalment!
  2. Six of Crows by: Leigh Bardugo. I am so glad I finally read this!
  3. Retribution Road by: Erin Bowman. Such a great sequel!
  4. Home is Burning by: Dan Marshall. This book made me cry like a baby: books don’t make me cry easily.
  5. The Secret Life of Violet Grant by: Beatriz Williams. All the books in this trilogy were so good! I highly recommend!
  6. The Sound of Gravel by: Ruth Wariner. Such a woeful tale that is hard to believe is true.
  7. Puddin’ by: Julie Murphy. I loved this more than Dupplin’. I related to this book, it made me feel all the emotions.
  8. City of the Lost by: Kelley Armstrong. This story just sucked me in. All the books in this series so far have been incredible.
  9. A Reaper at the Gates by: Sabaa Tahir. It’s hard to believe I hated the first book in this series, because the second and third have been SO good!
  10. Legendary by: Stephanie Garber. I’m adding this because I really enjoyed this, it was four stars but, still worthy of the list.

That’s all for me. What were your favourite books of the year (so far)?

  1. Great picks for this week Meghan. 🙂 Legendary is one of my top reads of the year so far (even though it was four stars for you it made the list so it counts right?) and if I had read it I imagine A Reaper at the Gates would be too. I’ve heard nothing but good things so far. 😀
