Movie Review: Avengers: Endgame

Hi guys! Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week. This is the first of my scheduled posts because as you read this I’m in Scotland just starting off on my UK vacation. Today I’m going to be talking all about the Avengers: Endgame. This is also spoiler free.

Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame: It’s been five years since the Infinity War and everything that happened there. Now, we see how everyone has been getting on, some better than others, but never giving up hope that loved ones could be returned. No true hope seemed possible, until Aunt Man arrives. Now getting the team back together, or what’s left of it, to consider time travel to collect all the Infinity Stones before Thanos does and to bring everyone back, and not mess up the past, present or future too much. This film really took on time travel at its finest. That aspect really kept the viewer engaged, and really played on their memory as they tried to remember if certain things happened in other movies. It was amazing watching it all fit together so nicely; seeing all the plots from every previous movie come together was like filling in a missing puzzle piece. The creators and writers did an spectacular job of not only closing off this world in the Marvel Universe, but sending off characters as well. The emotional turmoil that the viewer goes through throughout this film is insane, but worth it. The viewer knew going in there would still be casualties, but the way everything was handled was so well done. It really hit home for the viewer because you’ve been with a lot of these characters for years. Visually, this film was pleasing and entertaining in all the right places; the dialogue just seemed so perfect and it’s sad to see all of this come to an end. Overall, this film will not only play with your emotions, eat you up, spit you out, make you think the worst, but really brings home the saying ‘everything happens for a reason’ and it really couldn’t have been better.

  1. I watched this one cuz my bestie and my BF wanted to see it. Can’t say i was a big fan, mainly cuz it was quite long. I enjoyed the actiony bits and how it ended, just felt like there was too much of the “getting started” bit.

    1. Ohhh have you seen any of the previous films? I can see if you’re not into the marvel world it can be super long and tedious!
