WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

Night Shift: I’m 57% of the way through; this week’s short story was alright. It was short and quite repetitive, but the ending was chilling and came out of nowhere, which made the story that much better.

The Two Towers: I’m 61% of the way through; again I haven’t gotten to read this as much as I’d like – I’ll probably have to put this on hold for a bit due to the amount of things I have to do, BUT I finally got to SAM AND FRODO! I AM SO HAPPY! 😊

Lastly, I’m reading Scythe by: Neal Shusterman. OMG this book has been amazing! At page 55 I had the feeling this will be a 5 star read! I still believe that and I probably will continue to think that!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

Last week I finished Swing Time by: Zadie Smith. I really wanted to like this book, but it felt like a jumbled mess. There was a lot going on, plot-wise and just the overall themes she tried to convey felt all over the place. I still have to write a coherent review.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

I’m keeping the three books I own on my list this week. I’m hoping to get to at least one of them soon!
