The HOWL Book Tag

Hi friends, I hope you’re having a good Tuesday. Today I’m going to be doing the HOWL book tag. This tag is based off the book Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon which released last week. I may have to add this to my TBR! I was tagged by Holly @hollibrary; thank you very much! I just started following Holly, but I’ve been enjoying her content and I encourage you all to show her some love by stopping by her page and checking out her posts… maybe even giving her blog a follow! ☺️

The HOWL Book Tag, which was created by Tova (Petyr Baeish Books) and is inspired by Rachel Lynn Solomon’s forthcoming enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance, Today Tonight Tomorrow!

1. Rowan: Name a book that features your favourite romance trope

Fake dating has been one of my favourite tropes right now. I’m going to go with To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by: Jenny Han… Lara Jean and Peter have been such an adventure I’ve loved going on! I can’t wait to watch the movie once I finish the book! 😃

2. Neil: Name a fictional character, who turns out to be a lot more than you initially thought

Can I use the same answer as above? It’s my blog, my rules, so yes. 😂
Peter Kavinsky is a lot sweeter than he seems to be.

3. Cinerama: Name a book that transports you back in time

You know, at this point in time I don’t have an exact book, BUT, when I go through my “read” books on Goodreads which is in chronological order as I go back I can remember where I was when I was reading it… where I was reading the book, who I was talking to, what I was doing in my life… it’s such a magical feeling to be able to reminisce by looking at your books.

4. The Fremont Troll: Name a fictional character who is always there for you, no matter what. In other words, what fictional character is the centre of your universe?

Dorian Gray? This sounds like a bad answer, but I don’t care. This book is always there for me every year that I read it; it’s a comfort read at this point. Even though Dorian goes down a spiral and shouldn’t be there for you, as a person, his character is 100% entertaining.

5. Pike Place Market: Name a book from your past that is kind of basic (popular), but will always remain special

I’m going to have to agree with Holly on this and say the Mortal Instruments and all the spin-off series that came from it. I read those books (and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t still reading them 😅) throughout high school and into university. I can still remember all the places I’ve read them too. They hold a special place in my heart.

6. Starbucks (with your name wildly misspelled): Name a book that features a character who has the same name as you—especially if the name is spelled slightly differently

Oh, with a name as popular as ‘Bony’ you get all kinds of different spellings… I’m really surprised when the ‘h’ gets added. I’m sure there has been a book with a character named ‘megan’ I just can’t remember right now…

7. Seattle Public Library: Name a book that holds a special connection in relation to the library for you

I get A LOT of my books from the library so it’s hard to say which one has a special connection to the library… there have been books that the librarian have helped me find because they’re not in the correct spot, but at this point in time I can’t remember the titles.

I’m really bad at answering these questions 😅

8. Delilah Park & Nora Roberts: Name an author you’ve met and/or an author you’d love to meet!

I had the opportunity during my internship to work right beside an author, and when her new book released the following September she invited me to her book launch! It was a lot of fun!
The book was Between the Cracks She Fell by: Lisa de Nikolits

9. The Seattle Skyline: A book that features a location that has a personal connection for you

Eric Walter set this post-apocalyptic world in the city I used to live in… so I knew the street names, it was crazy to read. The series was The Rule of Three trilogy.

10. HOWL: Name a book that features a game that kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time

Would it be a book tag without me mentioning The Chalk Man? No, I don’t think it would be. That book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time; I loved it!

Tags!

Oh boy, I don’t know who’s interested in reading this book but I’ll just tag a few people since these questions were fun. If tags aren’t your thing, you can feel free to ignore this; if you see this and want to join in on the fun, feel free consider yourself tagged!

    1. You’re welcome! Aw I’m so glad you’re excited! 😃💞
Right?! They are the best at fake dating… which I wouldn’t be surprised if it got real… but I’m not there yet! I can’t wait to see where the story goes!

  2. I really want to read Today Tonight Tomorrow, and this tag is a great way to get to know the book a bit better 🙂
Thank you for tagging me!! The questions are fun and I loved reading your answers!

  3. I love that one of the most narcissistic characters of all time is the one that you say is there for you. It’s brilliant. I feel like that about Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye. He’s an utter arse but he’s my utter arse 🥰🥰🥰😂😂😂😂
